Special message:

Our inpatient unit remains closed pending the outcome of a palliative care review being conducted by local clinical commissioning groups.

You can read the potential scenarios published by the CCG here and complete a survey in print or online to give your feedback by Friday 13 March.

Please rest assured that our community nurses, our day hospice and the staff who work across the hospice continue to operate as normal. Patients are being referred to neighbouring hospices if they need a bed.

“It’s a shocker, you hear hospice and you think that’s where you end up before you float away. Now I know it’s a place you can come and you don’t float away.”
